MJHL Trade Deadline Passes with Little Fanfare

The MJHL trade deadline passed with little action of significance...or so it seems. It seems the league's best teams are confident in their current rosters as Selkirk, Winnipeg Saints, Portage and Winkler did not make any blockbuster deals unless you include the 8 player deal between the Blues and Saints that saw the main cog in the deal, goalie Jordon Dreger quit the Blues, leaving them with huge question marks in goal after they moved Eric Potvin to Ontario to make room for the moody Dreger. The rich get richer as Tri-Cities reassigned Jason Gardiner to Selkirk. What's the connection with Selkirk and Tri-Cities anyway? And why are marginal Dub players Wilgosh and Shinnimin are still there? Everret Silvertips reassigned Jordan Mistelbacher to the Saints, where they have to be the deepest team up front in the MJ.
